You have probably heard of the New HSK, or the HSK 3.0, which requires more vocabulary volume. If you want to prepare for HSK exam with the updated vocabulary, you can jump straight to the New HSK Vocabulary Lists Band 1-9. Each word entry in the list contains a sentence example which is recorded by native speakers.

HSK Vocabulary List Level 1

HSK level 1 demand test takers to understand and use very basic Chinese phrases and sentences (150 basic words).

HSK Vocabulary List Level 2

HSK vocabulary list level 2 enables you to conduct basic daily Chinese conversations for the aim of communication (300 words).

HSK Vocabulary List Level 3

HSK level 3 vocabulary list contain basic words and expressions for the exam and daily use (600 words).

HSK Vocabulary List Level 4

HSK vocabulary list level 4 contains basic Chinese words and phrases needed for intemediate level(1200 words).

HSK Vocabulary List Level 5

HSK vocabulary list level 5 contains words that help you communicate in mandarin Chinese more confidently in everyday situations(2500 words).

HSK Vocabulary List Level 6

A mastery of HSK vocabulary level 6 will enable you to speak Chinese natively and help you better understand Chinese culture (5000 words).
